A Message from Adam Barbe

Dear Supporter,

My journey over the past few months has led me to a crossroads in my life. I was in a major accident (hit by a semi-truck) in December which helped me re-orientate my life and allow God to retake the throne in my heart. To put it simply, transforming from trades worker to youth worker. Through the healing process of the accident, God put ministry work at the forefront which helped me remember the importance of the Great Commission laid out in Matthew 28:16.

I will be a part of managing a Youth Drop In Center called the Vault, in association with Youth Unlimited. The main focus of the Vault is to invest in the lives of youth through providing holistic care, mentoring relationships, and a safe community for youth to belong to. It comes free of judgment and provides them the opportunity to experience the love of Christ. The youth I will be working with come from a variety of backgrounds, ages and walks of life. As the team lead, I will be in charge of managing volunteers, staff, programs and the overall well-being of the Vault Youth Center. This work is important because identity and mental health are at an all high in today’s society and truth is often questioned. My hope is to use the gifts God has given me such as leadership, mentorship, compassion and inclusivity to help youth in their life’s journey.

In accepting this position, I have a few needs. The first one is prayer. First and foremost, please keep me in your prayers. Pray for the safety of the center, for the youth to experience the life-changing love of Jesus and for meaningful relationships to be formed. The second need is financial. This role requires me to find financial support, giving me the freedom to fully invest my time into the youth. The third need is volunteering your time. This aspect is just as valuable as prayer or giving. I invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in any of these ways.

Thank you for taking the time and hearing what God has placed on my heart and called me to do. If you would like to partner with me, feel free to email or call me. I would love to meet with you if you have any questions. Please reach out using the information below.
